Music reading has started- what a great sight it was to see all eyes on the notes for the very first time! Your progress continues! Be sure to practice- review and correct(fix),including Twinkle!!- at least four times per week. What a great feeling to know you GOT IT- PERFECT!

The next week, the last Tuesday in June, we meet again at the usual time- bring your calendar of summer events- sign up for your 2 summer private lessons included with the summer $25 cash instrument fee. KEEP ON PLAYING!! WHAT  A DIFFERENCE A YEAR CAN MAKE!!

Congratulations!

Dear Orchestra Students of the Music at the Towers Program ,

I am very sorry to miss your class  this week- it couldn't be helped, but still I would love to be there to hear how you felt about your very first concert experience , and to look the concert video and photos with you.
I hope you enjoyed it and felt proud to be playing your instruments for the guests; you certainly should be! Many of our audience members told us that they think you are doing very well after such a short time playing. It will be amazing to see what will happen at next year's concert , if everyone practices daily and carefully between now and then. Can you imagine what you will be playing by then? It's all about your dedication and drive to improve, so make it part of your daily activities- you'll have so much fun  that way! .
Some important items:
1.You will need music stands for next week, and for you home practice, because we are starting our method books. You can buy a stand at the Brampton Long & McQuade store just north of Vodden on Hurontario- tell them you are with the Music at Towers program-$16. or $32 each-or give Mrs Adams the money and we'll get one for you.
2. We have three more classes- the last one is very special. It will be held at my house and afterwards will be a pizza and pool party. Parents/guardians are invited too. We will talk more about this next week. More on that later..
3. Summer plans- instead of classes, we are offering  a more flexible way to keep you progressing and learning. We don't want you to forget what you have learned! Fees ($25) will be paid for the use of the instrument over the summer and will include two private lessons set up at an agreed time. This is the very best way to get exactly the lesson you need.
Have a wonderful class, and make sure you bring your practice chart to every class. 4 practice times and you can win a prize next week!
With affection for each of you,
Ms. Currie
