A BRIGHT NEW BEGINNING

WELCOME ONE AND ALL!
Yesterday was a busy day getting started-or RE-started.
We had a film crew with us till 5pm, so it was a bit hectic!
We may be able to view ourselves in the documentary being made for TDMUSICOUNTS, later in the season.
Although this project was very last minute for us, it was one way we could show appreciation for the grant they are giving us, to pay for ALL our new instruments required this year!
The beginners also we were able to hear a LIVE performance by Scott Helman, a Canadian music star, the host of the doc.,who touring in Europe soon followed by a Canadian tour.
Scott was "Signed" by a recording company when he was 15, also played violin 7 years!

A special thanks to Susan dal Dosso, who found this source of funding for us to apply to.

THANK YOU to those who helped out at Saturday's BBQ:
Riley, Dania, McKenna, Zoe,
Elijah, Graeme, Marianna and Raechel
