ONWARD INTO 2018

January 11, 2018

WELCOME BACK  and  HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!

PARENTS' NOTES

1. BEGINNERS' PRIVATE LESSONS : sign up with Yogita by next week for Private lessons, to start in February.
At this stage it is essential for each of you MATT students, receive individual help, to be the best you can be ! We are very confident in our teachers' ability to correct any position issues, guide you, and assist you in your individual musical development. Please be sure to add their assignments to your practice chart list.
TEACHERS: Bem Partington, a fine young  musician and good friend of MATT, will be teaching the beginning violins and violas. Susan Naccache, and Elizabeth Wallace our current excellent cello and bass teachers, will help our youngest students

PARENTS PLEASE NOTE: these lessons take place  ALTERNATE WEEKS for all MATT students. You will receive the teacher's phone number before your first lesson.
In case of illness there is a required 6 hour notice to the teacher, required, or the full cost must be paid by the parent. If late, the lesson time is lost- the teacher must stay on schedule.
In short, value these lessons- they avail your child of his/her full potential as an individual, to progress as fast as he/she is able, while strengthening confidence and contribution to the class-orchestra ensemble.
You will be given the absence/lateness  policy document to carefully read and follow. Speak to Yogita (or Andrea while Yogita is away in January),if you have questions.
